5 super healthy and creamy dips and spreads

creamy dipsOne of my favorite kind of foods are for sure dips and spreads. I simply love them and I cannot resist to have. It is always the right moment to make your own creamy dips, which it could be used as a side dish as well as your whole meal. At least for me it works like this. Give me some dips and spreads and I do not need to ask for anything more.

As you can see, just thinking of making out some creamy spreads makes me super energetic. And when it is summertime, I find even more excuses to have them. For Lunch, at dinner time, as an appetizer. Whatever.

Nothing can be compared to these tasty dips. Today it is time to see 5 super tasty and healthy recipes then, which are going to give you plenty of vitamins, proteins and love in order to feel ourselves always powerful. By adding also many spices (like cumin, turmeric, etc.), you can literally make a great energetical dish in just a few minutes. Ready?

*1 Tahini sauce 

(Sesame seed paste, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, parsley)

Since when I discovered tahini sauce during my trip to Cyprus, it immediately becomes part of my life. Have you ever heard about it? It contains sesame paste (very common in the Middle East) which is loaded with plenty of vitamins and it helps you to keep the energy level always at most. This is combined with garlic, lemon juice, olive oil. Kind of magical recipe. I use to add also some chopped herbs, like parsley. Several flavors, super healthy. The taste is literally amazing. You will not be able to stop eating it!

 

*2 Creamy lentil dip

(Red lentils, onion, garlic, carrots, tomato, olive oil, parsley)

I love legumes and lentils are probably at the top of the list. Trying to eat healthy while enjoying tasty recipes is a cool goal, is not it? I do believe you can make this creamy lentil dip anytime, especially if you are on diet. Full of benefits, this dip includes red lentils, tomato, carrots, olive oil and garlic. Just think of them all together for a while. I know, you already want to prepare it. Make one extra portion for me too, please!

 

*3 Aioli

(Olive oil, garlic, salt)

You know my pure love for olive oil. I basically use it to dress any kind of dish, since it is able to add a super flavor to them. Aioli is a typical Mediterranean sauce made of garlic and olive oil: this combination is super wonderful, I can honestly say it is one of my favorite ways to dress the dishes.

 

*4 Hummus

(Tahini, chickpeas, lemon, garlic, olive oil)

Hummus. How is it possible not to love it? Healthy, tasty, simply amazing. There are no reasons to not make it for today’s dinner. If you want to surprise your guests as well as make a very great and easy to make dish for your dinner, hummus is always your secret winning choice. Everyone will be delighted by having the chance of enjoying some perfect healthy and creamy hummus. Guaranteed.

 

*5 Guacamole

(Avocado, tomato, chile serrano, onion, cilantro, limes)

Let us move on and continue this mouth watering healthy food tour. Next stop? Guacamole time. This incredibly tasty sauce comes from Mexico and as you surely know its main ingredient is avocado. I love making this sauce, just looking at its green color give you energy and vitamins.  So fresh and perfect to eat beside so different dishes. To get the best result, be sure avocados you buy are ripe: this is a little secret to make your guacamole dip super creamy and magical.
